Sarah Ayers selected to Spring 2026 Emerging Leaders Program

Danna McKitrick, P.C. is pleased to announce that attorney Sarah Ayers has been selected for the Spring 2026 Emerging Leaders program through FOCUS St. Louis. The competitive program brings together early-career professionals from across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors for an intensive, four-month civic leadership experience.

Emerging Leaders is designed to help participants explore their personal, professional, and civic leadership styles while developing a deeper understanding of the St. Louis region. The program also emphasizes collaboration and relationship-building among participants, who represent a wide range of industries and backgrounds.

Since joining Danna McKitrick, Sarah has become a valued member of the firm’s transactional team, advising small to midsize businesses on intellectual property, employment, and contractual matters. Her work frequently involves supporting startups and emerging companies as they protect and develop their intellectual property and navigate early-stage legal needs.

Launched in 2012, the FOCUS Emerging Leaders program has trained more than 750 young professionals. Upon graduation, participants join a network of more than 11,000 alumni who have completed FOCUS civic leadership programs and remain actively engaged in the St. Louis community.

Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2024, where she concentrated in intellectual property law. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Westminster College. She is admitted to practice in Missouri and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri.
